Unchained Youth Group
Unchained: To be free of chains.
We get our name from John 8:36, “Who the Son sets free is free indeed.” This is the base of our youth group, nothing the world tries to pin on us is going to dictate our lives. A youth group who leaves the Status Quo behind, instead striving for living a life dedicated to God.
Here at the Unchained Youth Group of Living Hope Family Church we mix the energy of youth with the extreme truth of God’s word in our lives. The vision of the group is to reach the teens of this city starting at the schools, and that’s not just the vision of the leader but a vision shared with the youth. This vision doesn’t just end at our schools and within our city we want to reach the world.
Though we strive to reach the world around us, we begin with focusing on the group, building positive group relationships, forgetting the clique mentality. We begin to build with the word, empowering teens with what God says of them. From there we continue to grow and learn more about the word and what God says together. And with that we form that bond as a group.
Our first passion as a group is God, in second is Fun. Pool Parties, Lock-ins, Game Nights, Concerts, and other “Random” Adventures.
